Hi everyone! I’m Beth, the new Digital Marketing Executive at Pace.

Originally from Cambridge, I moved to Hull for university and stayed for the chip spice!

My marketing experience is in-house, working for a local software company on content, social media, and SEO. This sparked my love of marketing, and desire to learn as much as possible. I’m excited to be here at Pace, getting used to the dynamic world of agency marketing and working on SEO, PPC, and WordPress.

Could you describe yourself in three words?

Crazy cat lady.

If you had to give up one form of social media, which one would it be and why?

I could live without Facebook, too many spoilers, but I would be lost without Facebook Messenger!

What’s your party trick?

Swing dance! I have been dancing lindy hop and Charleston since university, but I also have some great cheesy disco moves up my sleeve 🕺

Quickfire Round

Tea or coffee? Always tea, all day!
SEO or PPC? Hard to choose but I’m leaning towards SEO.
Pepsi or Coke? Vanilla Coke or apple tango, that counts right?
Cats or dogs? Yes.
Agency or in-house? I have experience working in-house but I am loving the change of pace (heh) working in an agency.
Twitter or Instagram? Instagram, I need food photos and videos of round animals in my life!

What do you do to de-stress?

When I am not snuggling with my cat, I love board games, a book (preferably Harry Potter) and a gin and tonic.

Tell us what you love about Hull.

Hull has changed a lot in the short time I have been here, and it has been great watching the city evolve.

Since day one, my all-time favourite thing to do has been the Fish Trail. I can often be spotted around Old Town, with a map under my nose, bumping into lampposts! My favourite fish to hunt for are shrimp and squid 🦑

What are you most looking forward to about starting at Pace?

Getting to know and working with the team, there’s always laughter and happy vibes around the office. I’m excited to keep learning and to get stuck into some new projects!
