Hello! I’m Hannah, the new PR executive at Pace. After graduating with a degree in Journalism and Digital Media I’ve spent the last three years at another agency in Leeds, and I’m looking forward to spending more time in my hometown.
I have experience in both consumer and trade PR, and have ‘PR’d’ everything from beauty and fashion brands, to kitchen gadgets and retro Wham Bars.
When I’m not at work, you can probably find me with friends and family, in bed, or eating good food.
If you could invite five people (dead or alive) to a dinner party who would you choose?
First off would definitely be Rupert Grint – I’m (unashamedly) a huge Harry Potter fan, and I feel like we would get along…
I’d also invite actors Chris Pratt and Jack Black for comedic value, and beauty director at Elle magazine Sophie Beresiner – she looks like fun and is genius with all things make-up.
Lastly, I’d invite my sister. She’s my best friend so she should get an invite I guess.
What do you do to de-stress?
I’ve started running, so at the moment that’s definitely working when it comes to de-stressing, alongside yoga.
What’s the most recent thing you listened to/watched/read?
I saw George Ezra recently which was brilliant, he seems so lovely and his voice is outstanding.
The last thing I watched was The Office, and I’m currently reading a book called Fragrant Harbour – which is set in Hong Kong. My grandparents spent a lot of time living abroad so I love to read older books about where they used to travel.
Got any interesting facts?
My great grandad x8 (allegedly) invented the carousel – but he didn’t patent it so someone stole the idea as their own… I’m not 100% that this is true, but it’s one of the only interesting facts I have so I’m sticking with it.
I’ve also met Mary Berry, the queen of cooking, and Anna Wintour, the queen of all things fashion. Anna Wintour was very nice actually, despite the rumours!
What are you most looking forward to about starting at Pace?
I’m looking forward to getting stuck into working with new clients and learning as much as possible, about as many things as possible! I’m also looking forward to getting to know the team better.
