Hi, I’m Tom, but as there is already a Tom in the office, you can call me T!
I’m about to go into my final year studying Business Management at the University of Manchester. During the two years I have already spent in Manchester I have had an incredible time, but as they say there is no place like home and I love being back in Hull.
I have a couple of months spare across the summer and I’m looking forward to expanding my knowledge of digital marketing, and I don’t think there is any place better to do that than Pace.
Describe yourself in 3 words
Ambitious, devoted and outgoing.
Tell us an interesting fact about yourself
Within the span of three footballing seasons, I achieved two separate Player of the Season awards in two different positions – one as a goalkeeper, and the other as a centre-back. Alongside this our team won the Yorkshire County Cup and the league title.
Who would play you in the movie of your life?
Although this may sound cliché, if I had to choose somebody to play me in a movie I’d pick Leonardo DiCaprio. The way he portrays Jordan Belfort in The Wolf of Wall Street is a thing of beauty. I remember watching the film when it first came out and thinking that the passion, energy and drive DiCaprio put into the character makes me believe that he would be an excellent fit to portray me in my own film.
What’s the best gig you’ve been to?
Although I’ve been lucky enough to attend numerous gigs during my time living in Manchester, the one that stands out to me the most is Bugzy Malone at the Albert Hall. As a Bugzy Malone fanatic, being able to see him play in his hometown was a dream come true for me. The whole night was incredible and as it was one of my first ever gigs I don’t think I’ll ever forget the experience.
What are you most looking forward to while being at Pace?
I’m very excited to work in a fast-paced environment where everybody involved is passionate about what they do. Pace pride themselves on innovation, and I can’t wait to get involved.
