Tori here! I’ve recently joined Pace as an Account Manager.
Born and bred in Hull, but it feels like a brand spanking new city to me. I haven’t lived in my hometown for eight years. Since, I’ve lived, studied, played and worked in Leeds, Greece (seasonnaire on a surf camp) London and recently moved back from Essex. My marketing career has spanned across both agency and client, working on FMCG brands such as ASDA and Maldon Sea Salt.
I’m obsessed with music; old and new. I really should’ve been born in the early 60s if you look at my most recently played on Spotify (I’d rather listen to vinyl). Oh and I’m a big foodie! Put me at a gig with food, in a new pair of trainers, and I’m in my happy place.
Could you describe yourself in three words?
Fiery red head.
What’s the best thing you’ve read/watched/listened to recently?
Watched – Stranger Things. I proudly managed to binge watch two seasons in a week.
Read – The Little Book of Hygge. Everyone could benefit from living like the Danish from time to time.
Listened to – The Sherlocks. I saw them at their gig in Hull last month.
If you could invite six people (dead or alive) to a dinner party who would you choose?
Nick Grimshaw, Liam Gallagher, Alex Turner, Kris Jenner, Alexander McQueen and Anna Wintour.
What do you do to de-stress?
Listen to music, write down my thoughts or hit a spin class.
What are you most looking forward to about starting at Pace?
I’m looking forward to being a northern monkey again, back to my roots. Extending my knowledge of the dark art of digital and being part of a new, sociable and buzzy Northern agency.
Who is your role model?
It’s got to be Liam Gallagher; his voice, sense of humour and comic attitude. A lot of in people my generation care too much about what others are doing and think of them. More of us need to be a bit more Liam (in moderation).
