Hi, I’m Tom! I have recently joined the team at Pace as Digital Marketing Assistant. I am from Hull originally, and graduated from Northumbria University this summer where I studied Marketing Management.
I’m looking forward to getting stuck in at Pace; I really like the approach they take to client briefs, adopting a strategic approach to everything they do.
If you could go for a drink with anyone from the present day, who would it be and why?
It would definitely have to be Gordon Ramsay. I think he’s really inspirational, and I’d love to find out all of his secret recipes.
What’s your favourite thing about/place in Hull?
I love the Marina/Humber street area. It’s really providing Hull with some great places to go for a drink and something to eat. I can’t wait to watch it develop further.
What was the most interesting project you worked on at uni?
We developed a direct and digital marketing plan for the Economist. We were really lucky to have a live project for a company as part of a uni assignment.
Which social media platform is your favourite and why?
I’d have to say Instagram. I really like the fact its focus is around photos; it’s a really creative platform with lots of applications.
What was your first impression of the Pace office?
The Pace office is great, it’s a really welcoming, friendly environment. Plus, the views of The Deep and the Humber are awesome.
What are you most looking forward to about starting at Pace?
I am excited to be the newest member of the Pace team, and can’t wait to start applying what I learnt at university in a practical environment. It will also be great to develop more technical digital marketing skills.
