Hellooo, I’m Alana! I’m the newest recruit at Pace, and I’m a Junior Digital Executive.
Last July, I graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University and got my degree in Advertising and Brand Management.
I’ve recently returned from a fantastic travelling experience; from America through to South East Asia, which has been a life-long ambition of mine!
In my spare time I love to read and I’m a serial Netflix binger! Guilty! However, my favourite hobby ever is to Ski.
Could you describe yourself in three words?
Crazy, small, ginger!
You’ve been tasked with getting snacks for the whole office… what do you bring?
Well I’m really not a great cook so I would have to cheat and buy in a load of goodies! I’d probably bring a selection of Domino’s finest and chocolate fudge cake & ice-cream or cheesecake for dessert.
If you could invite five people (dead or alive) to a dinner party who would you choose?
This is a hard question!
Definitely George Michael, he is my all-time favourite artist and I would love to be serenaded by him!
Stevie Nicks, for sure, I’ve basically been brought up on Fleetwood Mac! My friends call me the human jukebox, apparently ‘I know every word to ever song ever written!’
Definitely Ryan Reynolds as not only is he fantastic to look at, but his banter is second to none.
I know it’s cliché, but I would also invite Harry Styles, I recently went to a concert with my little sister and it was one of the most exciting things I’ve experienced! His new album is just pure gold.
Melissa McCarthy would be such a fantastic person to meet, she has me absolutely howling and laughing till I snort (embarrassingly) every time!
What do you do to de-stress?
Definitely kick back with some friends, a glass of wine and a movie.
What are you most looking forward to about starting at Pace?
Putting everything that I’ve learnt into practice and developing my skills. I’m really excited to actually feel part of a team and that I’m doing something positive. I’m excited to get to know everybody.
Got any interesting facts?
I’m below five foot if that counts!
