The CATCH rebrand

When HCF Catch, an industry-led partnership supporting the process, energy, engineering and renewables industries, asked us to complete a research piece on their customers’ understanding of their brand, the results pointed in one direction: if your customers don’t know exactly what you do and who you do it for, then there’s a gap between your internal and external marketing that needs to be plugged. We recommended a rebrand of the company, and a complete rebuild of their website.

We wanted to take the complexity of the multi-faceted HCF Catch organisation, and turn it into something simple and easy to understand.

We found that most customers referred to the company as CATCH, and so this would become the main brand. It would also become the parent for six individual sub brands, established to serve the organisation’s six key facets – CATCH Network, CATCH Skills, @CATCH, CATCH Room Hire, CATCH Facility and CATCH Supply Chain.

The rebrand and restructure has seen brilliant uptake from all key stakeholders, and a much greater understanding and awareness from existing and potential customers alike.

A full brand roll out was completed to include vast site signage, a brand new website, indoor wall vinyls, comprehensive photography, promotional material, site ID cards, lanyards and stationery.

We continue to be the marketing arm for CATCH, providing marketing and communications strategy, social media and PR, marketing collateral and general support and advice.
