Pace’s packed summer of events

July 16, 2024

From rubbing shoulders with Kevin McCloud and celeb spotting at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show to organising one of the most important events in the regional business community’s calendar, Team Pace has had an especially busy few months organising and supporting events.

May saw us support our client Trex, the world’s number one decking brand, with a dedicated stand at Grand Designs Live.

Months of careful planning and creativity paid off with a show-stopping stand at the nine-day show at ExCel London, which featured an inspiring showreel and must-have branded giveaways.

Staff from Pace, Trex and its UK distributor Arbor Forest Products welcomed hundreds of consumers and trade professionals to the stand, part of the show’s outdoor living zone, to experience the premium quality of the deck and learn more about the benefits of composite decking.

Meanwhile, our social and PR teams met with journalists and liaised with influencers, generating lots of great content for the brand.

Later in the month our Trex team was in full force at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, building relationships with journalists, getting PR inspiration and generating social content for our client’s feeds.

Pace MD Anita Pace said: “It’s been a busy few weeks at Pace, and the summer shows no signs of slowing down, but we’re loving it!

“Since winning the Trex contract the whole agency has immersed itself in the outdoor living sector and we’ve had social, PR, production, design and client services involved in all aspects of the exhibitions Trex has been part of, as well as planning and shooting deck builds across the UK to create PR and social content for the months ahead.”

Closer to home, Pace supported the launch event for Humber Business Week. “Unveiling the Placebrand”, hosted by Future Humber at Hull’s MKM Stadium, was the first event in a busy week for the region’s businesses and supporters that aimed to inspire, motivate and educate.

Unveiling the Placebrand looked to the future and the role of businesses and their people in positively influencing the Humber’s reputation and profile.

Our brief was to ‘wow’ attendees and encourage them to take action. We were responsible for coming up with the concept for the event - an immersive, inspiring installation which generated fantastic feedback from our client and from attendees.

Anita said: “I’m proud of Pace’s role in the initial stages of this important piece of work to redefine how the world sees the Humber. We had the challenge of a limited amount of time and a fixed space to deliver a lot of information but the team met it head-on, creating some really emotive audio and video content, that went down well with the audience.”
