Fixing the leaks: building a unified brand for City Plumbing.

We know the drill when it comes to creating brand architecture. So when City Plumbing approached us looking to refine its sub-brands' identities, we grabbed the right tools and got to work.

Challenge.

A large number of products and services operate under the ‘City Plumbing’ umbrella. Over time, each of these sub-brands had developed a completely different look and feel.

This was creating confusion among customers and inconsistency across the group, so City Plumbing was looking for a comprehensive brand architecture to bring all of its brands together with clearer positioning.

Response.

After conducting site visits and stakeholder engagement, we created a distinctive and recognisable brand logo system that logically grouped together products and services.

This branding refresh was incorporated into a new City Plumbing logo to unite all of the sub-brands.

Results.

The new branding architecture has been rolled out across more than 350 nationwide stores and features on City Plumbing’s fleet of 100 vans and 54 double-decker trailers.
