How the latest tech transformed Trex’s TV Campaign.

Ahead of its busy summer period, Trex wanted to raise brand awareness. Quickly.
Response.
To reach the right audience with scale and speed, we knew a TV advert was the right option - so we grabbed our wrench, spirit level and cameras and got to work.
Hooked on the concept of ‘Open Your Doors’, the ad shows how to use a Trex deck whatever the time of day or year. We storyboarded the concept and sourced stylists, photographers, set builders and a camera crew to develop the ad.
Results.
From concept to creation, this project took just three months: a new record for Trex. The ad has reached more than 300,000 UK homes, sample requests increased by 30% as a result and online search volume for ‘Trex decking UK’ grew by 80%.
